Orange Respite Service (ORS) is a NDIS provider offering luxury respite accommodation in the tranquil setting of Orange NSW. Whether you live in the Central West or you're visiting from further away, we cater to everyone who may require our services!

What do we offer?
Orange Respite Service offers emergency, weekend, short-term and medium-term disability respite accommodation to both children and adults. Clientele may be private or NDIS funded. *Please visit the 'Our Respites Services' section on our website for more information on the services we offer.

About our team
At ORS, we pride ourselves on having a team of professional, experienced and caring staff; including registered nurses, enrolled nurses and experienced disability carers. You can further rest assure that a registered nurse will be on call 24/7 for any complex nursing needs. We are entirely focused on providing outstanding respite care whilst you stay at Lakeview Cottage - your 'home away from home'.

Kelly Hofmann
As a Registered Nurse, I have a great passion for quality patient care. I love my chosen career and have long prided myself on offering caring and knowledgeable services to my patients.
However, I have also witnessed the gaps and downfalls within this industry.
Sadly, during my nursing career I have witnessed Carer stress, long respite waiting periods and poor client outcomes. My heart has broken many times for families who have reached out for help, unable to access respite services. For these reasons and many more, I decided to co-found Orange Respite Service.
I am confident that our vision, together with our drive, passion and knowledge; will establish a beautiful and welcoming environment for you whilst you stay with us for respite care.

Allen Munro
I have more than 25 years experience in senior management roles for two of Australia’s largest agribusiness companies and have a broad knowledge of business practices. Being born and raised on a farm in country NSW I understand the challenges that country folk face when being isolated from large city facilities.
With Kelly’s nursing background and my management experience, I am certain that our respite service at Lakeview Cottage will have that friendly country feel while providing the best quality of care for you, and peace of mind for your Carer. We are so excited to put our combined professional expertise towards making a difference in our clients lives.
